Shreveport LANP Dates and Announcements

Shreveport LANP:

Thanks to all of you who came out last night for our monthly meeting. We had a great turnout for the rainy weather. Wanted to provide you with a few dates and announcements from the meeting:

Our BUNCO fundraiser for PAC will be Monday, May 1st at Silver Star. Bring family or friends and RSVP by April 28th. See attachment for details.

LANP Day at the Legislature will be Wednesday, May 6th at State Capital. See LANP website announcement for details about the event and recent HB 416 and 486.

Shreveport LANP May Meeting will be Thursday, May 7th. More details to follow. For May & June, we will be collecting donations for the homeless to be donated through Hope Connections. Bring small toiletries and other items needed for care packages for our homeless. Items can include soap, shampoo, comb/brush, toothbrush/toothpaste, chap stick, bug repellent, socks, washcloths, anti-bacterial wipes or hand sanitizer, deoderant, etc 

LANP PCC Conference is October 8-11 at the Shreveport Convention Center. Please contact me if you wish to nominate a local NP for recognition at our PCC conference and included in our 'Spotlight on Members' in the PCC program. If you or anyone you know wishes to advertise in the PCC program, please contact me. And if you wish to volunteer at the PCC conference, you can contact me or sign up at the next meeting. I have attached the sign up form for you to view the different committees in need of service.
