This is a reminder that the public hearing regarding LSBME rules and regulations to govern collaborators will take place this Wednesday, September 24th 2014 at 10am at LSBME office in New Orleans.

LANP is asking for member, patient, family and collaborator presence in support at the hearing.

These rules significantly affect current NP practice and if promulgated, will create substantial difficulties for resident access to healthcare, especially in rural and inter-urban areas.  Many of our patients will be left with no provider for their healthcare needs.

We also have a monthly meeting this Thursday, Sept 25th at Windrush Grill at 6:30pm. See event post for details and RSVP. Make sure to bring your new or used purse for Purses for a Purpose Auction to be held this Saturday that benefits Salvation Army.
