One Step Closer! SB 187 Passed!

SB 187 passed the Senate Health and Welfare Committee today. The next step for SB 187 is to be considered on the Senate floor. We anticipate 1 – 2 weeks. If that passes, the bill goes to House and Health Welfare.

In the meantime, it is crucial that we, as NPs, contact our Senator & Representative in support of SB 187. Encourage Family members, Friends, and patients to do the same with letters, phone calls, and emails to our legislators. Shreveport/Bossier Senate Members are: Ryan Gatti (who is scheduled to come to the Crawfish Boil April 8th), Barrow Peacock, Gregory Tarver, and John Milkovich.
