LANP Fundraiser Sponsorship Deadline Reminder

Reminder!!!! Sponsorships due this Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the LANP meeting!!

 

LANP is dedicated to the advancement and promotion of Nurse Practitioners in roles spanning the entire spectrum of fields within the healthcare arena. However, this requires countless hours with legislators, House Bills, and Senate and House meetings -- which all require money. For 2016, our goal is to raise $300,000 through sponsorships and fundraising in order to fulfill our mission. To raise money for LANPs cause, LANP-PAC (political Action Committee) will be hosting a Crawfish Boil Fundraiser. PAC is asking LANP members to help us attain sponsors for this event. All donated funds will not only negate the cost of the fundraiser, but fund the efforts to fully utilize Nurse Practitioners' scope of practice in Louisiana and their efforts follow suit with the other 22 states that have eliminated the collaborative practice agreement.

The Crawfish Boil Fundraiser will be held at Fully Stacked Restaurant , Friday April 8, 2016 with the goal of at least 100+ attendees. Company/brand exposure will be exponential. Any amount donated will thoroughly help our efforts in increase the quality of medical care given to the citizens of Louisiana.

Reminder: Deadline for sponsorship money is 3/2/16 (at the next LANP meeting). Please ask medical professionals, friends, family, local businesses, and employers that are committed to seeing NPs practice at thier full potential in the state of Louisiana.
